1. Create a WCA Account
Visit worldcubeassociation.org and sign up for a free account.
2. find a Competition
Browse the "Competitions" page to find events near you that match your schedule.
3. Register
Click on the competition, follow the registration link, and fill out your details. Pay any required fees to confirm your spot.
4. Prepare to Compete

Practice the events you signed up for, review the rules, and bring your cubes on competition day!

My First Competition

Competing for the first time is an exciting milestone in your cubing journey! To make the most of the experience, plan to arrive early and give yourself enough time to check in and get familiar with the venue. This will help you settle in and focus on the fun ahead.Bring your cubes in good condition and double-check they meet the regulations for the events you’ve registered for. Familiarizing yourself with the WCA rules beforehand will also help you feel more confident about how solving rounds and  judging,  work.It’s natural to feel a bit nervous at your first competition, but remember that everyone is there to enjoy the day. Results aren’t the focus for beginners—this is your chance to learn and connect with the cubing community. Don’t hesitate to ask questions; volunteers and experienced competitors are always happy to help.Most importantly, have fun! Your first competition is the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of speedcubing and make memories you’ll never forget.
